Skeleton opening a book: an incredible Opera Stage in Austria

The Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz Festival) in Austria is famous and acclaimed for staging some of the most amazing stages where shows are performed. This Festival is held in five different locations throughout the city, but Seebühne (the floating stage) on Lake Constance definitely offers the most unique atmosphere and it is very popular.

One of the most extraordinary stages of this festival was the one featuring a giant book stage being opened by a skeleton, in 1999, where Verdi’s opera “A Masked Ball” was being performed.
